After snapping a four-game losing streak at home last Saturday, the Stony Brook football team (2-5, 1-3 CAA) will return to Kenneth P. LaValle Stadium for their homecoming game against the Richmond Spiders on Saturday, Oct. 23 at 3:30 p.m.
The Seawolves will travel upstate to face the Colgate Raiders on Saturday, Sept. 11 at Andy Kerr Stadium, looking to rebound from last Thursday’s painful season-opening loss to New Hampshire. It will be the first meeting between these two schools since 2013, with Stony Brook leading the all-time series 3-1.
The Seawolves fell 19 yards shy of completing what would have been an all-time comeback, ultimately falling 27-21 to the New Hampshire Wildcats at Kenneth P. LaValle Stadium on Thursday, Sept. 2 in the season opener.
After a bye week, the Stony Brook Football team needs to come back refreshed for a big conference matchup with New Hampshire. After a big win at homecoming followed by a solid victory at Colgate, a third straight win will propel the Seawolves over the .500 hump for the first time since the first game of the season.
