    Student Union reopens on campus after three years of renovations

    After three years of renovations and about $63.4 million spent, the new Union opened on campus this fall semester. The Union features three levels of newly designated areas including an office for the Center of Civic Justice, club space and an e-sports facility.

    Founded this year, a new club at Stony Brook University called Artists in Medicine wants to use students’ artistic abilities to construct creative projects. Their goal is to combine the arts and sciences in a simplified and informative way.

Spencer beat the opposing party’s candidate, senior political science and economics major Justin Ullman, by 426 votes, and another candidate, senior psychology major Vincent Ferrara, by 760 votes.
