Reported crime on Stony Brook’s campus decreased in nearly every category during 2020, according to the Annual Security and Fire Safety Report published on Oct. 1.

Reports of rape, robbery and aggravated assault on the Stony Brook campus increased last year, according to the Annual Security and Fire Report released by the University Police Department (UPD) Tuesday.
More rapes were reported last year on Stony Brook University’s campus than in any previous year since 2006, according to a security report released by the University Police Department last month.
