Over the weekend, Stony Brook took sole ownership of the conference’s top spot after defeating the Albany Great Danes in a series. The pitching for the Seawolves bounced back nicely, while the offense and defense continued to shine.

The Stony Brook baseball team returned to Joe Nathan Field for the first time since the controversial title game last year, as the Seawolves (1-6) fell to the previously winless Sacred Heart Pioneers (1-5) 9-6.
The Stony Brook baseball team dropped the opening series of the 2022 season in rather disappointing fashion, losing two of three games against the McNeese State Cowboys. Still, the Seawolves have many things to be pleased about.
