Despite controlling possession for much of the first half, the Stony Brook women’s soccer team fell to the Columbia Lions 2-0 in non-conference play on Friday night.
The final five minutes of the match were a catalyst for the Golden Eagles, as they went on to dominate the Seawolves in the second half, winning by a final score of 3-0 at Kenneth P. LaValle Stadium Thursday night.
After a pair of ugly sets early on, the Stony Brook Seawolves were unable to fully recover, losing 25-12, 25-19, 23-25, 27-25 to the Manhattan Jaspers.
