Needing a win to remain afloat in the America East playoff picture, the Stony Brook volleyball team began the second wave of conference play by taking down the Hartford Hawks in four sets on Friday, Oct. 25, improving to 8-13 (3-3 AE).
Sunday’s match was a game of firsts for the Stony Brook volleyball team as they defeated the Binghamton Bearcats on the road on Oct. 6 to earn their second straight victory.
Stony Brook Volleyball won its fourth straight match in 3-0 fashion Friday night, defeating the Binghamton Bearcats. Kathy Fletcher led the way with 16 kills.
The Seawolves Volleyball team won their third straight match in straight sets, defeating the UMass Lowell River Hawks on the road Sunday in Lowell, Massachusetts.
