Stony Brook Football head coach Chuck Priore announced the 2020 season captains in a press release on Monday, Dec. 9. Rover Augie Contressa, defensive back TJ Morrison, quarterback (QB) Tyquell Fields and offensive lineman Anthony Catapano— all of whom are redshirt-juniors — will captain the team next season.
“The main difference is our mental approach as a team, our mental toughness,” Priore said. “I think that’s going to be the difference in this upcoming year.”
The team has nearly three weeks of training camp and scrimmages to play before they decide who will get the starting job for the Seawolves’ first game of the season.
