About 200 people from Turning Point USA (TPUSA), the New York Young Republican Club, the Long Island Loud Majority and surrounding community members gathered around the fountain at the Academic Mall on Sunday, Sept. 12, to protest mandatory vaccines.
The Stony Brook chapter of Turning Point USA will be holding an anti-mandatory vaccine protest on Sept. 12, from 3 to 4 p.m. The protest is expected to take place on West Campus, but the exact location is still to be determined.
“Beyond the Expected” — Stony Brook University’s first podcast — premiered on Feb. 6. The podcast gets voices and insight from “members of our campus community and beyond who are deeply committed to contributing their time, talent and solutions to the most pressing issues in the communities where they live, work and play.”
