Stony Brook women's lacrosse will seek its first of two wins on Friday evening, when the team hosts fourth-seeded New Hampshire at 5 p.m. at Kenneth P. LaValle Stadium.

Stony Brook fell short, losing to No. 13 Northwestern 7-6 on Saturday and to No. 9 USC 14-10 on Monday. On Wednesday, however, the team trounced San Diego State, 19-5.
Junior midfielder Dorrien Van Dyke’s final goal of the night, netted off a free-position try with 11:37 left in the second half, marked the 100th goal of her career.
“Oh it went in, and then it went out,” Van Dyke said. “I think that was a little disappointing, but next time I’ll shoot it in a different place and hopefully it stays in.”
