The Stony Brook Seawolves softball team lost its first games in around a month, dropping a pair to the Rutgers Scarlet Knights Wednesday afternoon at University Field.
“Our goal all season has been to repeat, which is tough to do in any sport, at any level,” coach Megan Bryant said on Thursday after her team’s opener against UMBC.
The Stony Brook softball team once again received outstanding starting pitching, but it continued to struggle to create runs as it lost two out of three games to Hartford this weekend.
