Stony Brook continued to stay atop the America East standings this weekend as the bats exploded for 36 runs in a three-game series with the Hartford Hawks, which they swept.
Stony Brook softball split a pair of non-conference games on Tuesday and Wednesday, beating Sacred Heart 12-6 on the road before losing at home to St. John’s, 9-2.
The softball team came away with a pair of wins this Sunday, as the Seawolves blew past both Morgan State in a 15-0 shutout and Mount St. Mary’s in a 3-2, eight-inning bout.
