Members of the USG Elections Board have not been confirmed by the Senate in three years, calling the board’s legitimacy into question in the middle of election season.
The USG Senate passed the USG Logo and Seal Act of 2015, which removes the use of the USG seal and proposes changes to the USG logo, at its meeting on Thursday evening.
The USG senate approved the Cheerleading Asset Grant Act, the Taiko Tides Appropriations Act and the Men’s Lacrosse Appropriations Act on Thursday evening.

Friday, April 17 marked the beginning of campaigning, and starting on April 27, the SOLAR system will open up for voting. Elections officially end on May 1.
