After facing a 4-0 deficit at the end of the first quarter of game play, Stony Brook scored 14 unanswered goals in a win over St. John’s in Queens on Sunday afternoon.
The Stony Brook men’s lacrosse team overcame a three goal deficit at the half to eventually win the back-and-forth game on a last minute goal to defeat Sacred Heart, 12-11.

“[It] was just a pure hustle goal by four or five guys,” head coach Jim Nagle said. “Bodies flying everywhere… those are the kind of plays that can spark a team.”
