The start of the semester at Stony Brook University brought with it the largest group of students to move into gender-inclusive housing in the program’s 10 years of existence.
The university’s reluctance to offer students in Brookhaven Residential Village a bed on campus denotes a lack of concern for the people living in BRV, one resident said.
Many students focused their conversations on room selection for the upcoming academic year in the days leading up to March 28, the first day of room selection.
