As the last wave of Minor League Baseball leagues across the country take the field to kick off the 2018 season, two Stony Brook Baseball alumni are getting their first shot at professional ball.
The Seawolves opened the tournament Wednesday, May 23 with a 2-1 victory over the Maine Black Bears, before falling to the top-seeded Hartford Hawks on Thursday, May 24.
The Stony Brook baseball team hosted Bryant and UMass at Joe Nathan Field over the weekend in their final non-conference games of the regular season, taking both games against Bryant on Friday and Sunday, and dropping Saturday’s game against UMass.
