Elections for the Undergraduate Student Government are underway. Here’s who’s on the ballot.

The Stony Brook University student body will be able to vote in this year’s Undergraduate Student Government (USG) election until April 7 at 12 p.m. through SBEngaged. Eighteen candidates are vying for seven Executive Council positions, and another 18 candidates are running for the 23 open Senate positions.

President McInnis announces the renaming of Sanger Hall

Sanger Hall, a residential hall in Tabler Community, will receive a new name after nearly two years of public pressure. Sanger Hall is named after Planned Parenthood founder Margaret Sanger, an activist for women’s rights and birth control.
