As Quinnipiac graduate guard Cameron Young stepped to the free throw line with 3:58 remaining, his team had closed the Stony Brook Men’s Basketball lead to just four when they were down 20 in the first half.
Stony Brook Men’s Basketball picked up two key victories this week, winning 97-61 against the Molloy College Lions in the team’s home opener at Island Federal Credit Union Arena on Wednesday, Nov. 21 and against Rhode Island on Nov. 24.
Stony Brook starts the season at a 2-0 record for the first time since the 2013-14 season, when the team went on to play in the America East finals and finished the season with an overall record of 23-11.
