The Center for the Study of Men and Masculinities and the Department of Africana Studies at Stony Brook University invited two South Bronx natives, Mark Anthony Neal and Joan Morgan, to discuss their relationship with feminism while navigating the realms of toxic masculinity.

Laura Martorano, Stony Brook's registered dietitian, spoke about the importance of discovering different, healthy foods.

“There are a lot of parallels between the movie and what is going on in the U.S. with migrant workers of color,” Crystal Williams, a junior health science major, said.
