    About the Author

Adrian is a senior who has been writing for the Statesman since 2011. He has covered almost all of Stony Brook’s Division-I varsity teams, as well as the school’s Division-I ACHA ice hockey team. He hopes to one day become a respected reporter and insider in the sports world.

Before coming to Stony Brook, he played two years of varsity ice hockey at White Plains High School, and the sport remains his favorite. He is also a member of Stony Brook’s marching and pep band, and is currently an intern for the Times Beacon Record. He enjoys watching and observing team sports of all kinds, and continues to play hockey with his father over the summer.
