Thousands of cars traveled from Port Jefferson Village to St. James to show support for the president’s re-election during “Trumpalooza” on Oct. 17. The rally began at the Port Jefferson train station and was led by Thomas Mundy — known as Tommy Trump45 on Facebook — dressed as President Trump, complete with fake secret service agents and cars designed to look like a presidential limousine, which even included the presidential seal. While passing groups of supporters, the caravan would stop and “Trump” would walk around shaking hands and taking pictures. Honking, sirens and chanting “four more years” filled Port Jefferson Village as “Trumpalooza” took off. The event was hosted by a Facebook group called The Setauket Patriots, who reported 2,700 cars in attendance. Photos by Julia Heming
