The University Police Department is investigating a reported burglary at the Staller Center for the Arts.

“At 10:30 we responded to the call from the Staller Arts Center,” UPD Assistant Chief of Police Eric Olsen said. “Our units are currently on the scene.”

At least four Suffolk County Police Department vehicles were seen parked outside of Staller as early as 12:50 p.m. on Wednesday, April 18.

Chief of University Police and Assistant Vice President for Campus Safety, Robert J. Lenahan, alerted the campus community in an email sent around 4:19 p.m. According to the email, “There is no present danger to the campus community nor was there at any time.”

UPD is urging anyone with information on the incident to call University Detectives at 631-632-3333.
