This year’s USG-hosted Roth Regatta was held on Friday, May 1 with the theme “Mainstream Fantasy.” The 26th annual celebration included a halftime performance of multiple acts, including the Stony Brook Bhangra team and rappers JUS and Joel Polanco.

Heather is a senior journalism major with a concentration in online journalism. She first joined The Statesman as a staff writer and later joined the multimedia section as an assistant multimedia editor. She hopes to become a foreign correspondent and pursue documentary video and photojournalism.
