On Sunday, Dec. 7, Ellis Paul, an American song-writer and folk musician, will be performing at University Café at 2 p.m. He will be performing songs from his newly-released album, “Chasing Beauty.” Admission is limited to those 21 or older for Sunday Concert Series events. Advance-sale tickets are $25.

On Sunday, Dec. 7, the Staller Center will be hosting “Met-Live in HD,” which brings Metropolitan Opera shows to the Staller Center main stage’s big screen. On Sunday, the center will be showing a rebroadcast of the play “The Barber of Seville” by Gioacchino Rossini. The showing offers the audience extras, such as backstage interviews. The show is at 6 p.m. and the run-time is approximately three hours and 25 minutes. General admission tickets go for $22, but go are $20 for senior citizens and $15 for students and children.

From Friday, Dec. 19 to Monday, Dec. 22, there will be performances of Seiskaya Ballet’s “The Nutcracker” at the Staller Center. Showtimes are Friday at 7 p.m., Saturday at 2 and 7 p.m., Sunday at 1 and 6 p.m. and Monday at 7 p.m. Tickets are $40 for adults and $34 for seniors and children.
