Despite their positive results lately, the Stony Brook volleyball team saw its four-match unbeaten streak come to an end with a 3-1 loss against Albany on Sunday afternoon at West Gym.

Although sophomore captain Lo Hathaway and teammates Hannah Dolan, Melissa Rigo and senior Kaitlin Costello tried as much as they could to get the team get back on its feet throughout the match, it was not enough to beat Albany.

The Stony Brook volleyball team will look to get back on track next Friday against  Providence at 7:30 p.m. and Hartford on Sunday, Oct. 20 at 1 p.m.
