Stephen Stakey, a freshman at Stony Brook University, passed out during the annual Roth Regatta on May 2. He was taken to the Stony Brook University Medical Center where he died later that day. He was 19. The cause of Stakey's death is still unknown, pending an autopsy, his mother, Cathy Stakey, said. (1) comment
