Seawolves Edge Sacred Heart Stony Brook's Women's Basketball team defeated Sacred Heart at home this past Wednesday, winning by a score of 52-47. Seawolves Topple Iona 66-57 The Women's Basketball Team won their first contest of the season on Friday against a weaker Iona squad. Leading the way was senior forward Dana Ferraro and senior guard Aly Young. Ferraro lead the Seawolves with 16 rebounds while Aly Young led the team in scoring with 13 points. (0) comments
On Friday, Stony Brook's Men's Basketball team traveled to Villanova. They gave a tremendous effort for the full 40 minutes, but unfortunately the Seawolves fell to the Wildcats 86-64. Although they lost by 22 points, the large deficit was deceiving. The Seawolves kept Villanova on their toes the entire game and gave an admirable effort. (0) comments
